Switching the speakers on or off

When the device is switched on, by default the speakers are on.

Rightclick Tellus5
in the system tray and select Tellus 5 options from
the shortcut menu.

Click on one of the following buttons next to Speakers:
On, to switch on the speakers of the Tellus.
Off, to switch off the speakers of the Tellus.

Click OK.

Rightclick Tellus5
in the system tray and select Tellus 5 options from
the shortcut menu.

Move the Speaker volume slider to change the volume on the device.
When the slider is halfway, it corresponds to the maximum
Windows volume.
The Speaker volume slider of the Tellus is identical to the general
volume slider in Mind Express.
Adjust the volume using Tellus 5 options instead of using the
Windows volume.

When the device is switched on, by default the sound is sent to the headpho-
nes.

Rightclick Tellus5
in the system tray and select Tellus 5 options from
the shortcut menu.

Click on one of the following buttons next to Headphones:
On, to send the sound to the headphones.
Off, NOT to send the sound to the headphones.

Click OK.

Switching the microphone on or
off
When the device is switched on, by default the microphone is off.
It is recommended to leave the microphone switched off. In Mind
Express, the microphone is automatically switched on and off when
making a recording. Only switch on the microphone if you are using an
application that is not an Mind Express application, and which requires
a microphone (such as Skype). After using the application, switch off the
microphone.
