Using the roast probe

The oven comes equipped with a roast
probe.
The roast probe allows you to monitor
the cooking temperatures.
The roast probe tip measures the core
temperature of the meat. When the
temperature is reached the oven
heating is automatically turned off.
The roast probe can be used during the
following functions:
– Auto Roast
– Convection Plus
– Microwave (Solo and Combination)

Using the roast probe
^ Prepare the meat.
^ Insert the roast probe completely
into the food so that the tip reaches
the core.
Poultry: Insert the roast probe tip in
the thickest part of the breast.
Please note
The meat can be put in a pot or on the
rack with the glass tray. When using
broiling bags, insert the roast probe
through the foil into the meat core.
Fat and bones might impair the
measuring and can cause the oven to
turn off. Therefore the tip should not
touch bones and should not be
inserted at fatty parts of the meat.
Select the higher core temperature in
the roast table for meat with a high fat
content.
