Fuel Gauge
The fuel gauge shows the approximate
fuel supply available. At F(fuU) there is
20 liters (5.3
US gal), including the
reserve supply. When the gauge needle
first points to RES there is about 4 liters
(1.1
US gal) left in the tank. Refill the
tank as soon as possible.
If
the main
fuel supply runs out, the last 4 liters
(1.1
US gal) can be used by turning the
fuel valve to RES.

Air Pressure Gauge
The
air
pressure gauge shows the air pres-
sure in the front and rear suspension. The
recommended
pressure
for
the
front
suspension is within the orange band. The
recommended
pressure
for
the
rear
suspension
is
within the blue band (See
Pages 8-9 for the reading and adjustment
of the air pressures).
Voltmeter
The needle should remain within 12-16V
when the engine is running over 1,000 rpm.
If the needle drops to 8-12V, the battery
is
exces~ely
discharged; turn any accesso·
ries off and have the battery inspected for
electrolyte level and charge. If the needle
reads below 8V or above 16V, there
is
a
malfunction
in
the
electrical
system
(See your authorized HONDA dealer).

coolant level. Read pages 47-48 and
do not ride the motorcycle until the
problem has been corrected.
CAUTION:
.. Exceeding maximum running temper-
ature may cause serious engine damage.
