Install the switch in the cabinet:

For round-holed rack rails, use the following hardware:
One 3-hole bar nut (Item 8)
Two Phillips head 10-32 x 3/8 inch screws (Item 6)
For square-holed rack rails, there are two possible methods (see
and
Figure 2-4 on page
2-10):
Method A:
-
Three retainer nuts (Item 10)
-
Two Phillips head 10-32 x 3/8 inch screws (Item 6)
Method B:
-
One 3-hole bar nut (Item 8)
-
Three alignment washers (Item 9)
-
Two Phillips head 10-32 x 3/8 inch screws (Item 6)
Tighten the screws to a torque of 25 inch-pounds.
Repeat steps 7a through 7c with the bracket on the other end of the same slide rail. The
bracket position can be adjusted to fit the cabinet.
Repeat steps 7a through 7d with the second slide rail.
Position the switch next to the cabinet as shown in Figure 2-1 or Figure 2-2 as appropriate,
and align then insert the inner slide rails into the outer slide rails.
Gently slide the switch into the cabinet.
Check rail alignment by sliding the switch in and out of the cabinet. If there is any
difficulty, pull the switch out of the cabinet and realign the slide rails.
Optional: If the Rack Mount Brackets were installed in step 3, attach the brackets to the
cabinet rails using one Phillips head 10-32 x 3/8 inch screw (Item 6) per bracket, and
tighten the screws to a torque of 25 inch-pounds.
