5.4 LEDs
5.4.1 BIT LEDs
The GBX24 has a red BIT Fail LED and a green BIT Pass LED. When the board is
powered on, the BIT Fail LED is activated by hardware, and remains lit until the
embedded processor boots up and takes control of it. Once BIT has begun its
preliminary tests, the COM1 serial port starts reporting the status of BIT. On
finishing, if BIT fails, then the BIT Fail LED remains lit. However, if BIT passes, the
BIT Fail LED is extinguished and the BIT Pass LED is illuminated. For more details
