Checks all the panel LED's lighting up.
All the panel LED's will light up.
LED is divided into blocks and lighting is switched from one block to another every time
[TAB <> ] button is pressed. When this test is over, LED goes out.
Press the [START/STOP] button to complete testing.
All the red LED's will light up.

Checks all LCDs' lighting up. Confi rm that all the LCD dots turn into black.

Checks Soft Pedal (Left).
When pressing the pedal, "Soft Pedal Check Start" is displayed and the C3 note is
output. Releasing the pedal, confi rm that "Soft Pedal Check OK" is displayed and the
C4 note is output.
When pressing the pedal, "Sostenuto Pedal Check Start" is displayed and the C3
note is output. Releasing the pedal, confirm that "Sostenuto Pedal Check OK" is
displayed and the C4 note is output.
Checks Damper Pedal.
When pressing the pedal, "Damper Pedal Check Start" is displayed and the C3 note
is output. Releasing the pedal, confi rm that "Damper Pedal Check OK" is displayed
and the C4 note is output.
Checks AUX Pedal.
1. Connect a foot pedal to [AUX PEDAL] jack.
Perform the test. "AUX Pedal Down" is displayed on LCD.
When the pedal is not detected, "No Pedal" is displayed on LCD.
2. With the pedal at the maximum position (its far end depressed fully), the C3 note is
output and "AUX Pedal Up" is displayed on LCD.
3. With the pedal at the minimum position (its near end depressed fully) on the other
hand, the G3 note is output and "AUX Pedal Out" is displayed on LCD.
4. When the pedal is disconnected from the [AUX PEDAL] connector, the C4 note is
output and "AUX Pedal Check OK" is displayed on LCD.
Checks MIDI.
After connecting the [MIDI IN] terminal and [MIDI OUT] terminal with a MIDI cable,
execute the test. Confi rm that the C4 note is output and "MIDI Check OK" is displayed
on LCD. Remove the MIDI cable when the test is over.
Connect the main unit with the appropriate display monitor. Confi rm that the display
monitor displays the RGB color bar code and NTSC string.
