13. Key Cover & Panel Assembly
(Time required: About 10 minutes)
13-1. Remove the top board assembly. (See procedure 4)
13-2. Open the back key cover. (See procedure 5-2)
13-3. Remove the spring L and R. (See procedure 12-4)
13-4. Put cloth or the like between the panel assembly and
keyboard.
13-5. Remove the turning axle assembly R from the panel
assembly. (See procedure 12-6)
13-6. Remove the turning axle assembly L from the panel
assembly. (See procedure 12-7)
13-7. Remove the key cover and panel assembly. (Fig. 20)

End Block Assembly (L, R)

(Time required : About 15 minutes)

14-6. Remove the screw marked [74], the spring washer
marked [96] and the fl at washer marked [86]. The end
block assembly can then be removed. (Fig. 21)
* The left and right end block assembly can then be
removed in the same manner.
