3-1. BASE UNIT

[Start-up]
1. When powered up, press and hold
time for 1 ~ 2 seconds.

2. Then press and keys at the same time.

3. Release and press again
testmode, and happy tone is emitted.
Default setting:
• Channel No. = 6
• Fast charge enable (FST_CHG = 1)
• RX audio unmute (RX_MUTE = 1)
• TX audio unmute (TX_MUTE = 1)
• 3 way Conf. mode
[Key functions]
The base unit always monitors the key inputs, and generates a key
touch tone and goes in the following modes according to each key
pressed.

• Toggle the mode to 4 item in the following sequence and

[INTERCOM]

• Toggle mic mute signal ON/OFF (U12 !™ pin).
• CHARGE LED is ON at mic mute enable, off at mic mute
disable.
[VOLUME +] [VOLUME –]

• Change speaker volume (8 steps).
• Key tone will be emitted each time and 3 times volume key
deep will be emitted when volume reach maximum or
minimum.
[SPEED DIAL]

• Toggle fast charge.
• CHARGE LED is ON at fast charge enable, off at fast charge
disable. (After press
[REDIAL/PAUSE]

• Toggle RX mute signal ON/OFF (U6 !§ pin).
[HOLD]

• Toggle transmit data ON/OFF (DATA = #1 LINK_ACK =
#$9E).
• SPKR LED is ON at transmitting data, OFF at no data trans-
mission.
[TALK/FLASH]

• Increment channel number of every press the key.
• Refresh PLL REF, RX, TX counters.

• Toggle generation of DTMF digit 5 continuously.
• Side tone is emitted continuously, until press

• Exit test mode and reset the MCU.

• IN_USE : ON = TX power enable (TX_ENABLE = 0)
