Introducing an additional rinse
for the Hygiene + and Cottons
Universal programmes
An additional rinse is always carried
out as standard in the Hygiene + and
Cottons Universal programmes.
If the additional rinse programmable
function has been activated four rinses
instead of three are carried out.
If the Rinse plus additional option is
also selected, five rinses are carried
out.
Follow steps A to G to programme
and store in memory.
Before you begin, first ensure that:
– The washing machine is switched off.
– The drum door is closed.
– The programme selector is at Finish .
Programmable functions
A Press the additional option buttons
Intensive and Rinse plus at the same
time, hold pressed in and . . .
B . . . switch the machine on with the
I-On/0-Off button.
C Let go of all these buttons. P 0
appears in the display. P 0
D Turn the programme selector to
Quick wash 40°C :
E The P will now flash in the display
alternating with the number 8.
In addition, one of the following will
appear on the right of the display:
0 = additional rinse is deactivated
or:
1 = additional rinse is activated
F Press the Start button to change the
display from 0 to 1 or from 1 to 0.
G Switch the washing machine off with
the I-On/0-Off button.
