precautions before beginning any installation, removal, or replacement procedure. Improper
grounding can cause electrostatic discharge.
To remove the component:
Power down the server (on page 27).

Remove all power:

Disconnect each power cord from the power source.

Disconnect each power cord from the server.
b.
Do one of the following:

Extend the server from the rack (on page 27).
o
Remove the server from the rack (on page 30).
o
Remove the access panel
4.
Remove the primary PCI riser cage
5.
If installed, remove the GPU
6.
Remove the GPU riser board.
7.
To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.
