CHOOSING A MOUNTING LOCATION

CDD Series loudspeakers should be mounted above head height – high enough to clear peoples'
heads for clean coverage but low enough to avoid over-exciting room resonances.
Tilt angles should be set so that the loudspeaker's maximum output (usually on-axis of the
loudspeaker centre) is aimed at the furthest listener across the room.
3 - 4 m
1.8 m
The horizontal dispersion pattern of CDD Series speakers tends towards a square due to the
design of the coaxial driver. For this reason, mounting speakers in the corner of rooms should
be avoided.

YES
NOTE: CDD Series speakers are NOT designed to be co-located, either adjacently or in an array.
Only install one CDD speaker at each location. Due to the Differential Dispersion characteristics
if two (for example) CDD speakers are placed adjacent to each other, there will be an overlap in
horizontal coverage in part of the intended area, which could lead to unwanted comb filtering.
