Battery

Test the battery with the ADG 1 battery analyzer, b 5.2.
Condition
Battery cannot be pushed fully
home
Battery does not engage when
pushed into the machine
Battery remains in same position
after it is unlocked
– battery is not ejected
BGA 85
Cause
Battery inserted wrong way round,
guide lugs on cover broken
Locking levers defective
Contacts bent
Spring is bent or broken
Guides / contacts very dirty, battery
jammed
Remedy
Fit new cover and check contacts.
Fit new locking levers, check
torsion springs and replace if
necessary.
Check contacts, replace wiring
harness or battery as necessary.
Check the spring, straighten or
replace if necessary.
Clean the guides / contacts.
