3.13.2 Audible Monitoring

Audible outputs can be monitored using the appropriate Handset Commands, please refer the
special instructions page of the default configuration together with the ST750ELV Handset
Commands Manual (667/HE/32750/000). Additionally, the necessary hardwire connections must
be made to allow the audible outputs to be monitored. The digital inputs, assigned for audible
monitoring by handset command, must be connected to the ML, MQ and MCOM inputs. Please
refer to Figure 51, Figure 52 and Figure 53.
On a single Pedestrian ST750ELV controller the necessary connection to enable the Audible
output should be made from manufacture. To enable the output the following connections should
be made:
-
Connect MCOM to the IO common (Digital Returns)
-
Connect ML to input 20
-
Connect MQ to input 21
-
Enter the Command CFE 6=1
-
Enter the Command IOA 20=20
-
Enter the Command IOA 21=21
-
Set up the time switches for audible as required.
Please note, the AUD1 and AUD2 COM connections are not maintained at earth potential. The
connection scheme for the Audible Supply Kit should be rigorously followed. Further details of the
Audible Supply Kit option should be sought from document 667/HB/32750/000.
