Troubleshooting

Error displays
The units are sturdily built. Nevertheless, disturbances may occur in ex
ceptional cases:
• by wrong electrical connection,
• by insufficient cooling, or overload,
• by exceeding the maximum current values (parametrization) or
monitoring values.
"
Use the type-specific options of your MF transformer for the reporting
of errors (e. g. by suitable evaluation of the sensor system or provi
ded temperature switches).
For information on the options provided, please refer to the type-
specific operating instructions of your MF transformer.
Information on the errors that occurred is provided
• via BOS 6000 in the „Fault table"
• via the small operator terminal (VCP05.2).
A list of all error and status messages is provided in the online help of
BOS 6000.
There, you will also find information on fault elimination in addition to
the possible causes.
When an error has occurred, the timer will be inhibited. In this con
dition, no welding schedule is possible until the error has been reset.
For PSI 6x00:
In case of fault, the green "READY" LED is extinguished on the front
panel of the weld timer.
For PSI 6xCx:
In case of fault, the diagnosis module shows the fault number.
