General information on damage to property and products
Incorrect parameter settings
Possibility of overloading the welding transformer by incorrect pa
rameter settings!
"
Make sure that the corresponding parameters have been properly
set in the weld timer and the power unit.
The maximum permitted welding current depends e.g. on the in
verter and the welding transformer used.
For this reason, our weld timers offer special parameters for
adjustment to the welding transformer used.
Plugging or unplugging modules or connectors/terminals into/from
live systems
Possibility of damage to the electrical equipment, unexpected
plant reactions!
Unless described otherwise, never unplug or plug any connec

tors/terminals on live systems.
Overheating due to insufficient cooling
Possibility of temporary interruption of the welding process, a re
duced useful life of the product!
"
Make sure that transformers are only operated with sufficient coo
ling water flow, matching supply temperature and suitable cooling
fluid quality. For further information, please refer to technical data.
Strong electromagnetic fields during the welding sequence
Possibility of damage to wrist watches/pocket watches, floppy
disks or even cards with magnetic strips (e. g. EC cards)!
