Main window
– Left window gives you on overview of the functioning of the turbo. The turbo regulation works by 2 ways:
– In low engine rev, there is a close-loop on the air inlet pressure, so a comparison between the air pressure and its
target).
– In high engine rev, there is a close-loop on the turbo rev, so a comparison between the turbo rev and its target).
– On the left window:
– Check if the turbo rpm is ok (maximum 200 000 rpm).
– You can see when the ALS is activated, ON...
– Check if the exhaust temperature is not too high (900°C limit for ALS, 950° limit for alarm).
– If a red graph apperas on the bottom of the main window, it would mean the popoff valve is open. If so check if there is
important difference (200 mbars) between air pressure (P2) air and the air pressure target (WG_P_Tgt). The right
bottom window give you the same information (popoff valve open if red point appear). When the popoff valve is
opened, the air pressure (P2) is between 1900 and 2000 mbars and quite stable.
– Top right windows are zooms for air pressure close loop and turbo rev close loop.
