6.5 Using the Remote Access Software

When you connect to the DVR through a browser window to enter remote preview, you will see the following screen:
Symbol and Function Definitions:

Full screen, 4/9/16 screens display mode.

Camera status:
There are four rows of indicators, which refer to recording, video loss, motion and alarm respectively. When the
indicator displays red, it means the event is relative. A grey indicator light means the relative event doesn't exist. For
example, the indicator of camera 1 in video loss row will show red if there is video loss. If it shows grey, channel 1 is
normal.
Below is the definition of the indicators in the record row:

Remote preview: Adjust the color of cameras, control PTZ.

Remote playback and backup: Please refer to Section 6.6 Remote Playback and Backup.

Remote menu setup: Set the parameters remotely.
: the backup file is AVI format. Users can play with a third party player directly.
