Initial Start-up Initial Start-up For initial start-up of the tank see Operating Instructions and User’s Information Manual of tank. See Installation Instruction Supplement supplied with tank. 1. Service Service (continued) 4.Check anode protective current with testing device 1. Remove front panel , insulation ring and thermometer sensor 2. Pull grounding cable off insertion 3. Connect anode testing device (testing range of up to 5 mA) between insertion tap grounding cable in series.

Service Service (continued) 5. Clean inside of tank 1. Drain domestic water from DHW tank. 2. Remove flange , insulation, insulation ring , and thermometer sensor 3. To prevent chemicals from entering piping, disconnect tank from domestic cold water piping system via adaptor.

Service Service (continued) 7. Place DHW tank in operation again 1. Reconnect DHW tank to piping system. 2. After every opening insert new gasket into flange opening 3. Mount space ring and flange opening and pull tight with max. torque of 25 Nm (221 Ibs.in). 4.
