USB Configuration

The items in this menu allow you to change the USB-related features.
The Mass Storage Devices item shows the auto-detected values. If no USB device is
detected, the item shows None.

This item is set to [Enabled] by default for the xHCI (extensible host controller interface)
support by xHCI drivers in operating systems.

Once the xHCI driver has been detected, the USB 3.0 mode will be
supported during both POST and operating system.
xHCI controller will be enabled and run at USB 3.0 mode when the xHCI
driver is installed in the operating system.
Enable the xHCI controller.
Disable the xHCI controller.
The USB 2.0 devices can be used only for the BIOS setup program. It
cannot be recognized in boot devices list.
Enables the support for USB 2.0 devices on legacy operating systems
(OS).
Allows the system to detect the presence of USB 2.0 devices at startup. If
detected, the USB controller legacy mode is enabled. If no USB device is
detected, the legacy USB support is disabled.
Support xHCI by xHCI drivers for operating systems with xHCI support.
Support xHCI by BIOS for operating systems without xHCI support.
