Unlock the transport lock.

Do NOT place the coin cup on the
platform yet.

Set Region
Select the region where you will be
using your Safescan 6185. Use the
buttons to toggle between
"EUROPE", "UK", "USA", "S-E ASIA"
and "AUSTRALIA".
Press to confirm.

Connect the power adapter to the
device and the mains socket.

Switch on the device by pressing
the power ON/OFF button.

Select Currency
Select your default currency with
the buttons. Press
confirm.
The settings are saved. The 6185
will start in counting mode, showing
the first coin denomination to be
counted.
