14. Motor

To replace:
z Remove the belt cover and rear cover.
x Remove the setscrews q and machine socket w.
c Disconnect the motor cords e, r, t and y from
the connector tabs A, B, C and D.
v Remove the setscrews u and remove the motor.
b Install the new motor to the bracket i with the
setscrews u. Attach the motor belt.
n Connect the motor cords e, r, t and y to the
u
connector tabs A, B, C and D.
i
m Attach the machine socket w with the setscrews q.
u
, Adjust the motor belt tension (see below).
To adjust the motor belt tension:
The motor belt o should deflect 7–9 mm when applying
q
300 grams of load to the middle of the belt.
z Slightly loosen the setscrews u. Move the motor up
or down to adjust the motor belt tension.
x Tighten the setscrews u firmly.
c Attach the rear cover and belt cover.
