This section describes the sheet flow from the feed section through the creasing and folding section to the
delivery section.

When the sheet is folded
twice, the sheet is folded
on a crease in the 1st fold
unit.
When the sheet is folded
once, the sheet passes
through the 1st fold unit,
and is transported to the

The sheet is aligned with the register guide while it is trans-
ported to the creasing units. If the sheet tilts against the regis-
ter guide, the crease will be skewed.
[ Tips for Making Crease Parallel to the Sheet ]
Adjust the following:
• Align the sheet with the register guide completely.
→ If necessary, increase the pressure of the transport rollers.

• Transport the sheet parallel to the creasing units.
→ If necessary, adjust the tilt of the register guide. See the
Quick Start Guide for details.

Sheets are separated by the fluff and
separation air, and then fed one by
one.
Adjust the following:
• Separation/fluff air
• Table height
• The height of the double feed stop
