When a stretch pattern is sewn with the feed balancing dial (C) set at the standard setting
mark '' 4 '', the pattern should be as indicated with the '' O '' mark in the following figure. If
not (if there is no balance between forward feeding and backward feeding), Then make an
adjustment as follows.
ADJUSTMENT
1. Turn the power switch on, and select pattern No. 8 ( ).
2. Set the slit of the feed balancing dial (C) at the standard setting mark '' 4 '' on the front cover.
3. Put the paper between the foot and feed dog and lower the presser bar lifter.
4. Turn the handwheel, and check the needle position of '' A '' and '' B ''.
5. Remove base cap ( D ).
6. When A>B, turn the adjusting screw ( E ) in the direction of '' F ''.
7. When A<B, turn the adjusting screw ( E ) in the direction of " G ''.
8. Attach the base cap ( D ).
