The upper thread tension should be between 75–90g when pulling the thread (size 50 cotton
thread) in the direction of "C" with the tension dial at "3". (The presser foot should be lowered).
1. Set the thread tension at "3".
2. Remove the face plate
3. Adjust the thread tension by turning the screw D in the direction of:
A to reduce the tension
B to increase the tension.
4. Attach the face plate.
