ELECTRICAL WARNINGS
Only use the system powered through a specified dedicated circuit breaker. If the power cord
•
is damaged, it must be replaced by a certified service agent.
Assure to use a properly rated circuit breaker of fuse. Gauge of the power wiring must be within
•
the minimum and maximum circuit amperage requirements of this equipment.
Do not pull the power and signal cords. Assure all wiring used complies with the national electrical
•
codes. System power input must be provided through a hardwired power circuit with proper gauge.
Do not use an extension cord, manually extend the power wires, or connect other appliances to
•
the same breaker with this air conditioner. Poor electrical connections, poor insulation, and high
amperage draw can cause fire.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE WARNINGS
Turn off the device and the breaker before cleaning. Failure to do so can cause electrical shock.
•
Do not clean the air conditioner with excessive amounts of water.
•
Do not clean the air conditioner with combustible cleaning agents. Combustible cleaning agents
•
or other harsh chemicals can cause fire or deformation.
CAUTION
If the air conditioner is used together with burners or other heating devices, thoroughly ventilate
•
the room to avoid oxygen deficiency.
Turn off the air conditioner and the breaker if you are not going to use it for a long time.
•
Turn off the breaker during lightning or other strong storms.
•
Make sure that condensation water can drain out of the unit, unhindered in any way.
•
Do not operate or touch the air conditioner with wet hands. This may cause electric shock.
•
Do not use this system for any other purpose than its intended use (indoor environmental comfort).
•
Do not climb over or place objects on top of the outdoor unit.
•
Do not allow the air conditioner to operate for long periods of time with doors or windows open,
•
or if the outdoor humidity level is high. Condensate water will accumulate on or near the unit.
 
