2.2.3.3 Jumper Settings for IRQ12 Select

IRQ12 Select
By default, the PS/2 mouse port uses
IRQ12. If you are not using the
mouse port, set JP10 pins 2 and 3
to On. IRQ12 will be available for
other devices.

2.2.4 Installing Expansion Cards

1. Switch off the computer's power.
2. Remove the computer's cover.
3. Locate for a free expansion slot on the system board. Remove
the screw and slot cover. Save the slot cover for future use.
You will be using the screw in step 6.
4. Unpack the expansion card.
5. Refer to the expansion card's user's manual for any hardware
settings such as jumpers.
6. Position the expansion card above the free slot. When the
card's edge-connector is aligned with the slot, press firmly on
the top of the card to seat it. Secure it with the screw you
removed in step 3.
7. Replace the computer's cover and switch on the power.
