Raise the pressure adjustment levers
(marked with the envelope symbol)
located at the bottom of the fuser unit
until both the left and right levers are
horizontal.
CAUTION
• The area around the fuser unit and the
output area are subject to high temper-
atures. Take adequate precautions to
avoid burns when removing jammed
paper. Do not touch any other areas
except the designated areas for this
purpose.

Close the left cover.
If you are using the optional finisher,
push it back into its original position
against the printer unit.
