Remove the black flange and the attachment
from the spindle.

Outwardly open the two hooks clasped on the
flange.
You can remove the attachment by releasing
the hooks.

In the same way, remove the attachment on the
side of the flange fixed to the spindle by
outwardly opening the hooks and removing the
attachment from the spindle.
You may need the attachment for roll paper
with a 3-inch core, so make sure you keep it in
a safe place after removing it.
Mounting the attachment
Mount the attachment to both flanges to use roll
paper with a 3-inch core.

Remove the black flange from the spindle.

Align the triangle marks on the flange and
attachment, and then push until the hooks are
fixed into place.

In the same way, fasten the attachment to the
side of the flange fixed to the spindle by
inserting the attachment into the spindle, and
then fixing the attachment into place.

Removing and installing the spacer

When you perform borderless printing on roll paper,
depending on the width of the roll paper, you may
need to install the spacer for borderless printing
supplied with the printer.
However, you cannot install the spacer for roll paper
with a 3-inch core, since it is already using the

Installing the spacer
A
Remove the black flange from the spindle.
When the attachment is mounted to the
spindle, remove both left and right attachments.
