How to Register Password

Password must be 4~12 digits long and there can be up to 10 passwords.
Password can only be registered when the door is open.
1. Entering the main menu (refer to page 17)

- To check if the change is correct, press open-door sensor of MORTISE while the door is
open. When the deadbolt is out, follow the "open door from the outside" method.
- When the new password is being entered, the same number as the old password, other
password, or reset code cannot be used.
- Do not let others know the password. Change it periodically to prevent break-in.
- If 20 seconds passed while entering the password, it will automatically turn off.
- More than one password can be registered.
When the light comes on, on the number pad,
press [4] and [ ] button.
When the light comes on the numbers not yet
registered, press the desired code number
(0~9) and then [ ] button.
- Already registered numbers cannot be shown, and
to change them, refer to "delete password" section.
When the light comes on, on the number pad,
enter the new password (4~12 digits).
- When the password is successfully entered, the
newly registered password will show up in order.
- To prevent theft, it is highly recommended to use a
password with more than 6 digits. (Only numbers
from 0 to 9 can be used.)
