Appendix A: Printer Interface

This appendix describes the installation procedure for local printers. You can either use a
plug&play printer (e.g. via USB) or a non-plug&play printer (e.g. via the LPT port).
You can install a local printer via manual or remote control. In the following step-by-step
instructions, the iinstallation process is described via remote desktop. Alternatively, you can
connect a mouse and keyboard for the installation instead of using the front panel. Also read
the documentation of your printer on how to install the printer.
After installation, the instrument must be configured for printing with a printer. Refer to
" Selecting and Configuring Printers"

To install printer drivers that are not preinstalled on the instrument, you
