2.4.4.15. P6 malfunction (For three phases units)
At first test the resistance between every two ports of U, V, W of IPM and P, N. If any result of them is 0 or
close to 0, the IPM is defective. Otherwise, please follow the procedure below:

IPM module protection
Check whether the voltage
range of P-N on IPM module is
normal? DC 350-650V
Yes
Check whether the
connecting line between main
board and the IPM module is
connected tightly
Yes
Check whether the
connecting line of the
compressor is connected
correctly or tightly
Yes
Replace the IPM module,
check whether the system
can work normally?
No
Replace the main board;
check whether the system
can work normally?
No
Replace the compressor,
check whether the system
can work normally?
Yes
