    INTRODUCTION Thank you for choosing this Ikegami High Performance IP PTZ Speed Dome Camera. Please read this Instruction Manual carefully to keep your Ikegami camera at peak performance for longer service period. All Ikegami cameras are designed and manufactured with utmost care and craftsmanship to provide long life and high quality performance, if it is properly used and maintained as outlined in this manual.

    1. General This high speed, Pre-set, Day/night IP PTZ camera is provided with a 1/4-inch high performance IT CCD sensor. The camera comes equipped with built-in JPEG 2000 engine and Web server for IP network. JPEG 2000 image compression and de-compression system offers very much improved quality and ease of use in handling video images.
  • Page 6 (4) HTTP protocol streaming and built-in Web server: This camera, as with other products in the Ikegami T-Sip family, uses the HTTP protocol, this means that the system is more resilient against virus attack and needs little change to the firewall setting unlike other types of network cameras and encoders.

    4. Basic Connection Power Connection The power supply for this unit should be AC24V, depending on a supplied configuration, of at least 25 watts capacity. And the use of CSA Certified/UL listed Class 2 power supply is required to ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations.

    6. System Connection 1 Contact input/output connections 6-1. Contact input/output connections for Flush/Tile Mount Be sure the power is not applied before doing this process. Connect the Non-voltage contact (dry contact) output or open-collector output of an external device to the IN1 terminal. The OUT1 terminal is of open-collector output (max. 24V, 50mA) type and requires a pull-up resistor for the contact input of an external device.

Connect the Non-voltage contact (dry contact) output or open-collector output of an external device to the IN1 terminal. The system is standard equipped with the AUD, MIC and IN1 functions. Three of the AUD, MIC, IN1, IN2, OUT1 and OUT2 functions may also be optionally selected.

  • Page 15 S1: Make a hole of about 196mm diameter (192mm~ 199mm) for camera fitting on a ceiling or where you want to install the PTZ camera. S2: Connect cables to the terminal block referring to the indications. S3: Put a safety cable (short and long) on the fitting metal part with supplied screws. And after securing protection cables on the camera side, fix the other side of the cables somewhere secured position of the back of the ceiling.

S3: Connect leads and cables for the power and so on referring to the instruction. S4: Insert three screws to the joint part of the upper section of camera until it makes free turn. This is a temporary process.

    9. PC Setup Setup of IP Address and Internet Explorer Before making connection, IP address and Internet Explorer Setup of the PC must be changed to make it identical with the PTZ camera. The PC has to be separated from a network while doing this procedure. 9-1.

About 10 seconds after applying the power, the Pan and Tilt motors start to move to have the home position.
