Customized Security at Your Service

Your Intelliguard 9000™ is a very powerful security system that is equally
practical, since it is customized to your business and security needs, even
as they change.
This brief survey of the Intelliguard 9000™ structure and basic operation
will familiarize you with the key words used (in bold). We recommend

An area may be your warehouse, your production area, or even a given
office. Each area has its own arming schedule and authorized users.
Several special areas may also be defined in your system:
• The linked areas; an area can be linked to another security area so it
automatically turns off when the first area disarms.

of detectors to use in each area.
User Friendly Control Centers and Area Keypads
Control centers and area keypads can be installed in strategic places in
order for you to communicate with the system. You may arm and disarm
an area using the keypad.
Up to four control centers can be connected to one Intelliguard 9000™
control unit to allow system operation from several different locations in
the facility. The display of the control center assists you with each
command, indicating precisely the origin of an authorized entry, an alarm
or a problem.
Up to eight area keypads may also be connected, with each keypad
controlling a single area. A quick reference guide may be pulled from the
