Open the Settings
In the Area Codes area:

From the Country list, select the country in which you are using your phone.
Then, the international prefix (International Prefix and Area Code) and the pre-
fix of the area code (Local Prefix Area Code) are set automatically.

In the Local Area Code field, enter the area code for your town without a prefix
(maximum 8 figures 0–9, *, #, F (flash), P (pause)).
Activating/deactivating area code pre-dialling
¤
Select Yes behindPredial long distance access code for VoIP calls to activate
area code pre-dialling.
Select No to deactivate the function. You will then need to enter the area code
for local calls made via VoIP. Numbers in the directory must always contain the
area code when dialling via VoIP.

The area code will also be prefixed to VoIP calls made to emergency num-
bers if there are no defined dialling plans for these numbers.

The numbers of your network mailbox saved in the base are not prefixed
with a code
Extra area codes for PSTN connections

Enter the extra codes of your area in the fields Entry No. 1 up to Entry No. 5. Max-
imum 3 characters, digits and the characters "*", "#" are permitted for each extra
code.
Save settings

Click on Set to save your settings.
