REAR BRAKE ADJUSTMENT
3.Check:
Rear brake pedal height a
Out of specification → Adjust.
4.Adjust:
Rear brake lever free play
Rear brake pedal height

Adjustment steps:
Loosen the locknut (handlebar) 1 and
fully screw in the brake lever cable
adjuster (handlebar) 2 until the clearance
a is within the specified limits.
Remove the rear brake master cylinder
cover 3 .
Loosen the locknut 4.
Turn the adjusting bolt 5 until the brake
pedal height is within the specified limits.
Tighten the locknut 4.
NOTE:
When adjusting the brake pedal height
make sure the locknut-to-adjusting bolt
clearance b
(0.08 in).

Clearance a:
0 mm (0 in)
Brake pedal height:
