ADJUSTMENTS

10.10 BELT ADJUSTMENTS

To gain access to the belts, remove the belt case
cover.
1- Primary Belt Drive
2 - Intermediate Belt Drive
3 - Final Belt Drive
1- Primary Belt Drive:
Belt 1 has a self adjusting belt tenioner 5.
2 - Intermediate Belt Drive:
Belt 2 has a self adjusting belt tenioner 6.
3 - Final Belt Drive:
Belt 3 has no adjustment
To adjust belts 1 & 2
Primary Belt (1)
1.
Loosen screws A & B
2.
Using spanner C on element D, rotate
element anticlockwise until the arrow on
the tensioner arm points to the mid
position between the 0-15° marked on the
element decal.
3.
Tighten Screw A followed by screw B.
Secondary belt (2)
1.
Loosen screws A
2.
Using spanner C on element D, rotate
element anticlockwise until roller takes
up the slack in the belt. The arrow on the
tensioner arm should be in the nominal 0°
position on the decal.
3.
Tighten Screw A (there is no screw B).
