6. MAINTENANCE, TROUBLESHOOTING
6.2

Replacement of Fuse

The 2A fuse in the power cable protects the equipment from equipment fault and
reverse polarity of the ship's mains. If the fuse blows find the cause before
replacing it. If it blows again after replacement, contact your dealer for advice.

Troubleshooting

This section provides simple troubleshooting that the user may follow to restore
normal operation.

Use of a wrong fuse may cause
serious damage to the equipment
and void the warranty.
Troubleshooting
Problem
• Jumbled memory
• Network not connected
• Corrupted memory
• Loosened antenna
connector
• Coaxial cable in antenna
cable is shorted or
damaged.
• Wrong speed setting
• Image is out of phase.
• Wrong IOC
• Noise
• Improper setting of
schedule
• Incorrect IP address or
subnet mask set on PC.
Remedy
• Turn the NavNet display unit
off and on again.
• Reselect the FAX mode.
• Clear memory.
• Fasten antenna connector.
• Replace antenna cable.
• Set correct speed. Speed
may be adjusted when
manually receiving an
image.
• Set phase manually.
• Change IOC. IOC may be
adjusted when manually
receiving an image.
• Use the noise rejector to
remove noise.
• Review schedule.
• Check setting referring to
page 7-8.
