Log dump car operation

Y
our log dump car will add hours of
unloading fun to your
layout. With the press of
a button, the log
cradle automatically
tilts, delivering the log
load to the tray at the side
of the track.

Loading the log dump car

f the cradle is tilted up, press it down
firmly until it locks. Now, place the three
logs onto the cradle. That's all there is to it.
Uncoupler button

Unloading with a remote uncoupling track

A
simple press of a button makes the log
dump car unload its cargo. A remote-
control track, such as is used for uncoupling,
is required to pull the car's unloading
plunger (see page 7).
Position the car so that its unloading
plunger is over the electromagnet. Be sure
the dump tray is located to the side of the
Electromagnet
on page 7 for more information on
loading and unloading your log dump car.
Just make sure your car is properly aligned
on the track and coupled to your train.

Remember that power must be applied to the
remote uncoupling track for the electromag-
net to work. CAUTION: When operating, do
not hold the button down more than 3 sec-
onds or you may damage the electromagnet.
