Select the desired RAID mode under "RAID Mode" and click Build New RAID Array.

Click OK when a warning message is displayed.

Click OK again. Creating RAID array will begin. The TeraStation will shut down automatically after about a
minute.

When the remote desktop is disconnected, press the power button on the TeraStation to turn it on.

Connect the Windows Storage Server via the remote desktop.

From the Windows Storage Server Start menu, click RAID Builder.

Click Format RAID and OK.
When formatting is finished, the RAID array is now created.
You can also format the existing RAID array using Format RAID on RAID Builder.
Note: When the "Drive Rebuilding" message is displayed under "Error" on Buffalo Dashboard, a new RAID array
cannot be created. Wait until the message disappears, then try again.
