Back up settings
To back up your settings, follow these steps:
1. From the Start screen, touch the screen and slide left.
2. Scroll to and tap Settings.
3. Scroll to and tap backup.
4. Tap app list+settings.
5. Tap the Settings backup switch to turn on.
6. If necessary, sign in to your Microsoft account.
7. Tap back up now.
8. Tap continue.

To back up your photos and videos, follow these steps:
1. From the Start screen, touch the screen and slide left.
2. Scroll to and tap Settings.
3. Scroll to and tap backup.
4. Tap photos+videos.
5. Make selections to automatically upload your photos and videos to OneDrive so you can access
them from the phone.

To restore apps, data, and settings that you previously backed up follow these steps:
1. Restart the device after you have backed up your data.
2. Connect to Wi-Fi.
3. Follow the setup prompts.
4. When the Restore phone screen appears, make sure Windows Phone is selected, then tap
next.
