Startup/Shutdown
Manual Startup
1. See Figure 4. Check the adhesive level. If the
level is below 50%, add adhesive to the tank (1).
Fill to within 100 mm (4 in.) of the tank top. Close
the lid immediately to prevent adhesive
contamination.
2. See Figure 1. Turn the POWER switch (8) to the
on position.
3. Prepare each gun in your system for operation
using one of the following methods:

WARNING: Pressurized system or material.
Relieve pressure. Failure to observe can result
in serious burns.
CAUTION: Failure to observe may result in
equipment damage.

follow the instructions in this operator's card and
the referenced manuals.

obtain and read the Material Safety Data Sheets
for all materials used.

Air-operated guns: Turn on the operating air.
S
Handguns: Unlock the trigger.
S
Electric guns: Turn on the gun driver.
4. Press the HEATERS control key (10). The
HEATERS control indicator (11) turns on and the
processor begins to heat.
5. Check the actual temperature setting (18) for each
heated zone by pressing the up arrow key (12).
6. When the READY indicator (17) turns on, press
the PUMP control key (10).
