• This appliance must not be used by
people with reduced physical, sensorial
or mental capacity (including children) or
who lack knowledge or experience unless
they are supervised or instructed by the
person responsible for their safety.
Children must be watched not to play with
the appliance.
Children must neither clean nor maintain
the appliance.
• During and after using the oven, do not
touch hot or inside surfaces of the
appliance – risk of burns.
• Do not allow clothes or other flammable
materials to come in contact with hot
components of the appliance until they
have cooled down.
• After cooking, be careful when opening
the oven door.
Wait for hot air and steam to gradually
exit before handling the oven.
When the oven door is closed, hot air
is vented from the aperture above the
control panel.
Do not block vent apertures.
• Always use oven gloves to handle the
oven, trays and accessories.
Be careful not to touch hot surfaces.
• Do not place flammable materials in or
near the appliance: a fire may break out if
the appliance is inadvertently switched on.
• Do neither heat nor cook sealed jars or
containers. The pressure that builds up
inside may cause the jar to explode,
damaging the oven.
• Do not use containers made of synthetic
materials.
• Overheated oils and fats catch fire easily.
Always remain vigilant when cooking
foods rich in fat and oil.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended
while drying food.
• If alcoholic beverages are used when
cooking foods (for example, rum, brandy,
wine), bear in mind that alcohol
evaporates at high temperatures.
As a result, vapors released by the alcohol
may catch fire if they get in contact with
the heat of the electric appliance.
