When testi ng a base st ation tr ansmitte r, the Test Set is exp ecting to r eceive a T1 Test Sig nal f rom t he
base stat ion und er test . The f requ ency of the e xpected sig nal is dete rmined b y t he Ch annel or Anal yze r
Fre quency set ting on t he C ont rol Tile. Wh en t esting a base stat ion r eceiver , t he Te st S et must be
synchron ized t o th e fr ame st ructu re o f t he base stat ion un der test, eit her by ana lyzing t he sign al fr om
the ba se stati on tra nsmitte r, or by recei v ing a synchr onizati on pulse f rom the b ase stat ion rece iver. T he
fr equency o f t he gen erat ed sign al is deter mined by the Ch annel or Gen erat or Freq uency set ting on t he
Con tro l Til e.
