5 Stow the wires in the opening (3) of the measuring in-
strument again. Make sure that the wires are not
placed in front of the lamp and that they are not in the
way of the lamp module
6 Insert the new lamp module (lamp symbol must be
vertical) so that it locks into place and a click can be
heard
7 Connect the instrument to the mains supply again
and switch it on
8 Calibrate the instrument (see 4.3 C
instrument is now ready for operation again.

5.1.2 Changing the batteries

The batteries must be changed when the LoBat message
appears (approx. every 3 years). We recommend to have
the batteries exchanged by service personnel. If you want to
exchange the batteries by your own, proceed as follows:
Warning
When changing the batteries, do not disconnect the instru-
ment from the mains supply! The instrument requires a volt-
age supply to save the data. There is no risk to the user.
1 Switch off the measuring instrument but do not dis-
connect it from the mains supply
2 Remove any cells from the instrument
3 Remove the lamp module and undo the plug-in con-
nection (see 5.1.1 C
4 Carefully turn the measuring instrument around and
safely disconnect it
5 Remove the card with the short instructions
6 Undo the 5 screws on the underside of the instrument
using a Phillips screwdriver
