XI. BASIC TROUBLESHOOTING
The information below contains basic troubleshooting along with causes and
solutions. All repairs to your scooter should be completed by an authorized
professional.
Problem
The power indicator light
does not illuminate when
the scooter is on
The power indicator light
illuminates but the
scooter does not move
Clicking noise coming
from motor
When the brake lever is
engaged the scooter does
not stop

Cause
1. Battery is discharged
2. Blown fuse
3. Loose connection
inside the scooter
The throttle handle has
failed
The motor has failed
The brakes are not
adjusted properly
1. Low battery
2. Battery is old

Recommended Action
1. Recharge your scooter
2. Replace the fuse
3. Remove the screws
that hold the battery
compartment cover
and remove the cover.
Visually inspect all wire
connections making
sure there are no loose
wires
Replace the throttle
handle
Replace motor
Adjust the brake by
loosening the bolt on the
rear brake wheel, pull the
cable and retighten the
bolt
1. Recharge your battery
for 6-8 hours
2. Replace battery
