NUM'AXES advises to use the same type and same brand of batteries as those supplied
in your new purchased product. Other brands of batteries may not operate, or may not
be completely compatible with your product. You can purchase the suitable batteries from
NUM'AXES or from your distributor.
NB: Due to greater use during your dog's training, your first battery may not last as long as
replacement batteries.

In case of malfunction

Before thinking the collar is broken, read this guide and make sure the problem is not caused
by a weak battery or incorrect settings. Check if the collar is properly adjusted and positioned
around your dog's neck. Make sure the contact points are properly tightened on the unit.
Re-initialise the system by removing the battery from its housing and then, with a metallic tool
(e.g. screwdriver, scissors), touch each of the two battery contacts for 2 seconds approximately.
Insert the battery again: one beep is emitted, indicating that the collar is correctly initialised.
If the problem persists, contact your distributor or check out on www.numaxes.com.
You can also contact NUM'AXES at +33.2.38.69.96.27 or by Email export@numaxes.com.
Depending on the extent of the malfunction, you may have to return your product for service
and repair.
For all repairs, please supply the following:
- the complete product
- the proof of purchase (invoice or sales receipt)
If you omit one of these items, the After Sales Service will have to invoice you for any repair costs
incurred.

Cautions for use

- The system detects only barking from the dog wearing the collar. Nevertheless, although the
device is extremely reliable, it can be triggered unintentionally.
- To avoid unintentional triggering, the dog should not wear a medal, metallic collar, or any
other kind of collar together with the bark limiter collar.
- Remove the battery from the collar if you are not using it for 3 months or more.
- Never leave a discharged battery in the unit: leakage could damage your CANICALM.

Maintenance

Avoid cleaning the collar with volatile liquids such as solvent or benzene. Use simply a soft cloth,
slightly moistened with water or a neutral detergent.
