Important Operations
4. Camshaft Timing Gear
1) Install the thrust plate 1 .
2) Apply engine oil to the bolt threads 2 .
3) Install the camshaft timing gear with the timing
mark stamped side facing out.
Camshaft Timing Gear Bolt Torque
10.0 – 12.0 (72.4 – 86.8/98.1 – 117.7)
