    SmartNode 4960 Getting Started Guide SmartNode 4960 overview The SmartNode 4960 T1/E1 PRI VoIP Router (see SIP Trunking, IP routing, VPN/Security, and Quality of Service with high-quality Voice over IP (VoIP) deliv- ered on 1 to 4 Primary Rate Interfaces (PRI T1/E1). The SN4960 enables transcoding between two networks to optimize bandwidth utilization.
