The TouchControlhnel allowsyouto set the oven
controlselectronically withthe touchof a finger.It's
designedto be easyto useandunderstand.

Touchthe CLEAR/OFFpad, set the Clockandoven
is readyfor use.
If poweris disruptedat anytime,the abovesequence
recurs,and youmustresettheClockaftertouchingthe
CLEAR/OFFpad.
1. DISPLAY. D isplaystimeofday,timeor temperature
duringcookingfunctions,powerlevelbeingused,
cookingmodeandinstructions.
2. Tlm COOK 1 &2. Microwave for a presetamount
of timeusingautomaticpowerlevel10.(If desired,you
maychangepowerlevelafierenteringcookingtime.See
page 10.)
3. TIm DEFROST. Gentlethawingat automaticpower
level3 (Low). (Ifdesired,youmaychangepowerlevel
afierenteringdefrostingtime. Seepage 11.)
4. COOK 'NWATCH. U sethispad for short-term
cookingwhichautomatically turns ovenoff after3
minutes.(Seepage10.)
5. POWERLEVEL.Touchthispad beforeentering
anotherpowerlevelnumberif youwantto changefrom
automaticpowerlevel10(High)for cookingor power
level3 (Low)for defrosting.
7. MIN/SECT~ER. This featureusesno microwave
energy.It functionsas eithera kitchentimer,as a holding
periodafterdefrostor as a timer beforetime cooking.

and erasesall settings(excepttimeofday).
9. EXHAUST' FAN.Press HI, LO or OFF for the
differentfan speeds.

time, defrostingtime, timeof dayor powerlevel.

methodfor enteringcookingtime andpowerlevel.(See

U. START. A fter all selectionsare made,touchthispad
to starttheoven.
H. LIGHT'. TouchON to illuminatecounter.
Cooting appliancesinstalledundertheovenmay,
undersomeheavyusageconditions,causetemperatures
highenoughto overheatsomeinternalparts of the
microwave oven.
Topreventoverheating from takingplace,the exhaust
fanis designedto automatically turn on at a lowspeedif
excessivetemperaturesoccur.Shouldthishappen,the fan a
cannotbe manuallyturnedoff, but it willautomatically
turn offwhenthe internalpartshavecooled.The fanmay
stayon up to approximately 30 minutesafier the range
and microwave ovencontrolshavebeenturned off.
6. CLOCK. Touchthispadto entertimeof dayor check
timeof day whilemicrowaving. Toset Clock, firsttouch
CLOCKpad andthen entertimeof day.For example, i f
timeis 1:30,touchnumberpads 1,3 andOand "1:30"
willappearin display.ThentouchSTART pad. Toreset
or changetime, simplyrepeataboveprocess.
