QUCK SET control
The QUICKSETcontrolprovides
a shortcutcodemethodforentering
timeandthepowerlevelonyour
microwave oven.QUICKSET
codesare onlyusedfor recipes
whichneedlittleor no attention,
and whichrequireno changeof
powerlevelduringcooking.
Recipeswhichrequireadditional
ingredients, a ttentionor changeof
powerlevelduringmicrowaving
shouldbe cookedin the usual
manner.Also,recipeswitha
cookingtimeof lessthanone
minuteor morethan99 minutes
cannotuse codes.
TounderstandtheQUICKSET
controlcodes,it is importantto
knowwhatthenumbersmeanand
whattie sequenceis. Thefirstand
secondnumbers,if settinga 3-digit
code,indicatetheamountoftime
youdesire;thelastcontrolentry
numberis alwaysthepowerlevel.
For example,125means12minutes
at powerlevel5.

programmed to 99 minuteswhen
usingtheQUICKSETcontrol,and
the highestpowerlevelis 10,which
is representedby "O:'Whensetting
a 2-digitQUICKSETcontrol
entry,the firstis time,the second
is powerlevel.For example,50
means5 minutesat powerlevel10.
Onthe following page,many
frequentlypreparedfoodsandtheir
codesare shown.It'salso easyto
makecodesfor manyotherrecipes.
Justselectoneor twodigits
representingthe lengthof cooking
timedesired,and a finaldigitfor
thepowerlevelrequired.The
codesgivenon theguiderepresent
the minimumtimeneededto avoid
overcooking, w hichcandry out
foodandmakeit tastelessand
tough.If youfeelthatmore
cookingis needed,add additional
timeby changingthefirst digitof
the code.Youcannotadd seconds
to thecycletime-codes are for
wholeminutesonly.If yourrecipe
callsfor powerlevelchangesor
differentamountsoftime needed
betweenadditionof ingredients, e
youmayset onecode[or thefirst
part of the recipe,thenafter
completion,set anothercodefor
thatperiodof timeandpowerlevel.
Whenthe ovencompletesQUICK
SETprogram,it automatically
shutsoff. It willthendisplay
"End" andbeeponcea minute
untilyoueitheropenthe dooror
touchthe CLEAR/OFFpad.
